Ashridge Home Care - Client and Live in Carer

What are travelling care services?

Travelling care services provide professional support to individuals who need assistance outside of the home. Live-in carers offer more than just company and support: they ensure your loved one’s physical, mental and emotional needs are met every step of the way.

This makes them an ideal choice for anyone who likes to remain independent but wants to travel with confidence.

Whether it’s a trip to see family members or a much-anticipated holiday, our carers are there to support.

At Ashridge Home Care, every journey is planned around individual needs, preserving their independence and dignity while giving you complete peace of mind.

    Testimonials

With over 30 years of experience supporting families, Ashridge knows just how much a travelling care companion can change lives. Here’s a real example from one of our clients, showing how our team made outings safer, more enjoyable, and stress-free:

“Ashridge really helped me last year when I wanted to attend a family wedding in Spain but didn’t feel confident travelling alone. I have mobility issues and tend to move a bit slowly, so having a companion supporting me at every stage of the trip made all the difference. It was incredibly reassuring to know help was there whenever I needed it.”

Ashridge provided an emergency placement for me when I needed a live-in carer on 24hrs notice. This was a godsend to me as my mother had advanced Alzheimer’s and my Dad had been rushed into hospital. I really appreciated the professional approach from all the staff I dealt with and felt very supported. Ashridge found me a first class carer who was able to provide wonderful live-in care for both my parents allowing them to spend a few more months together in their home of 35 years. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ashridge and live-in care.
