We are an independently owned care company who genuinely understand and care. We have created a culture that we are proud of, where our staff and clients are valued and respected and are at the centre of all of our thinking and everything we do.
Meet the team
We are driven to deliver the service that we would want for ourselves, should we ever need help in our own home.
Welcome to Ashridge Home Care, a family business set up and run by Trudi Scrivener and supported by a team of dedicated and experienced staff.
With over 30 years’ experience in home care and dementia care services, Trudi’s entire working life has been within the care sector. Drawing on her experience both professionally and personally, she knew that she should use this expertise to set up Ashridge Home Care and provide a service her clients need and want.
Our values are at the heart of all that we do
By placing them at the forefront, we remember the lasting impact our dedicated care can have on the families we work with.
ABOUT US
Why choose Ashridge Home Care?

A people business – it’s all about the little things
To us, the little things aren’t little. The little things are the important things. Whether it’s strictly adhering to our clients’ routines or its making plans to support our carers when they’re not working, it’s the small things that make a difference.
No two people are the same which means every care plan needs to be tailored. That means if lunch needs to be at 11am and dinner needs to be at 4pm – you can rest assured that’s what we’ll do.
Our award-winning care wouldn’t be possible without our incredible team, headed up by our Registered Manager Catherine Sadler. She is supported by our professional care management team, who bring a wealth of unique experience that helps us to continue to provide the best care to the families that entrust us with their loved one’s care. With front-line experience in delivering and coordinating care, the team takes immense pride in recruiting and training the best staff so that we can continue to provide exceptional care.
Our services continue to be recognised both nationally and regionally for the exceptional care we provide.
Our most recent awards include:
- Buckinghamshire Business Awards 2024 Excellence in Customer Experience Winner
- Buckinghamshire Business Awards 2024 Community Champions Winner
- Home Care Awards 2024
- Proud of Bucks Awards – Best Employer
- SME Business Awards 2022 Silver Winner
- Home Care Awards Winner 2023
- Home Care Awards Winner 2021
This recognition is a testament to the dedication and expertise of our team, who consistently go above and beyond to meet the needs of those we serve. We take pride in delivering high-quality, compassionate care, and our commitment to excellence has earned us the trust and respect of the communities we serve.
We’ll match your family member with a main carer, suited to their needs and personality. We understand how important it is not only for your loved one to receive the care and attention they deserve, but also to build a connection with a trusted carer. When you choose Ashridge Home Care, a care manager will get to know your family and pair you with a carer who will quickly become a regular, recognisable face in your loved one’s routine.
We’re rated Outstanding in the Caring category by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), recognising our unwavering commitment to providing the highest standard of care. This prestigious rating reflects our dedication to excellence and the quality of service we offer. We continue to strive to deliver “gold standard” care, with a holistic approach to health and wellbeing that not only addresses immediate needs but also creates a lasting positive impact on the families we work with, providing long-term support and peace of mind.
Here at Ashridge Home Care, our partnership with associations and professional memberships help us to strive for continued excellence. These relationships allow us to stay informed and improve continuously, benefiting both the individuals we care for and our team.

PASSIONATE ABOUT LIVE-IN CARE
We actively campaign to raise the profile nationally
We are committed to raising awareness of live in care as a better alternative to residential care.
The Live-in Care Hub is a national not for profit organisation focused on providing the consumer with information about live-in care, the message is starting to spread, and people are taking more time to consider their options.
As a founder member of the Live In Care Hub, our national involvement in raising awareness of live-in home care is having a positive effect on the industry, as we are dedicated to raising the standards of care provided to people in their own homes.
Trudi is an active member of the Buckinghamshire community and a supporter of local charities and a well-respected advocate for vulnerable people. Trudi is Trustee at local charity The Princes Centre, and also a trustee of a Charitable Trust providing vital funds to charities across the country. Over the years, Trudi has picked up awards that she is extremely proud of, a Dignity in Care Award for her work with the community to improve care for vulnerable people. She also received an ‘Inspirational Care Leader Award’ in recognition of working to achieve better standards of care across the industry.
We offer live-in care across the South East of England, including Hertfordshire, Surrey, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, London, Gloucestershire, Sussex, Bedfordshire, Kent, Hampshire and Middlesex.
HOW IT WORKS
What is the process for arranging home care?
Arranging live-in care or visiting care shouldn’t be a difficult task, which is why we’ve made the process simple.
All you need to do is fill in the form or give us a call on 01494 917 344.
We’ll then get in touch with you to discuss your loved one’s needs before assigning a dedicated care manager to visit their home and create a specialised care plan. You’re under no obligation to move forward with this plan. We always make sure that everyone’s on board before proceeding. Once the tailored care plan is in place, we’ll assign a carer who we feel best aligns with your loved one’s personality and requirements.
