We are an independently owned care company who genuinely understand and care. We have created a culture that we are proud of, where our staff and clients are valued and respected and are at the centre of all of our thinking and everything we do.
We are driven to deliver the service that we would want for ourselves, should we ever need help in our own home.
Welcome to Ashridge Home Care, a family business set up and run by Trudi Scrivener and supported by a team of dedicated and experienced staff.
With over 30 years’ experience in home care and dementia care services, Trudi’s entire working life has been within the care sector. Drawing on her experience both professionally and personally, she knew that she should use this expertise to set up Ashridge Home Care and provide a service her clients need and want.
Call us for a friendly chatTo us, the little things aren’t little. The little things are the important things. Whether it’s strictly adhering to our clients’ routines or its making plans to support our carers when they’re not working, it’s the small things that make a difference.
No two people are the same which means every care plan needs to be tailored. That means if lunch needs to be at 11am and dinner needs to be at 4pm – you can rest assured that’s what we’ll do.
Our award-winning care wouldn’t be possible without our incredible team, headed up by our Registered Manager Catherine Sadler. She is supported by our professional care management team, who bring a wealth of unique experience that helps us to continue to provide the best care to the families that entrust us with their loved one’s care. With front-line experience in delivering and coordinating care, the team takes immense pride in recruiting and training the best staff so that we can continue to provide exceptional care.

We are committed to raising awareness of live in care as a better alternative to residential care. The Live-in Care Hub is a national not for profit organisation focused on providing the consumer with information about live-in care, the message is starting to spread, and people are taking more time to consider their options.
As a founder member of the Live In Care Hub, our national involvement in raising awareness of live-in home care is having a positive effect on the industry, as we are dedicated to raising the standards of care provided to people in their own homes.

“In January this year my 90 year old Mum, who has dementia, had the latest of many falls in her flat. We decided that she should move in with us. We had a ski holiday booked and thought of cancelling when we met a member of staff from Ashridge Home Care. Our concerns vanished overnight. Regular phone calls to our daughter filled us with confidence that Mum was well, medicine compliant and happy. Ashridge Home Care were excellent and we are using them again in October. We would highly recommend them”
