Progress your career as a live-in carer with Ashridge Home Care, award-winning live-in care provider
If you’re a kind, caring and compassionate individual who is interested in making a difference to the lives of others, we would love to hear from you.
At Ashridge Home Care, we have worked hard to create a culture that we are proud of, where our staff and clients feel valued, respected, and are at the centre of everything we do. Our drive is to deliver the service that we would want for ourselves or our family members, should we ever need help in our own home.
Working as a live-in carer for Ashridge Home Care means you will receive the following benefits:
As a live-in carer, you will live with your client in their own home for a minimum of 2 weeks at a time. You will be a companion to them and support with various aspects of their daily routine, as well as working with colleagues and external agencies to provide a person-centred and holistic approach to client care.
This may include home help, personal care support, cooking, medication administration, support with organising and attending medical appointments and accompanying clients on outings.
Our vision is to enable people to continue to live independently within the comfort of their own home and help them to feel empowered to live the life that they wish to, feeling safe and happy.
To be a live in carer, you do not need to have professional experience or hold formal qualifications. Together, we will guide and support you to develop your skills and confidence in providing high quality care for clients with a variety of needs, from companionship to complex care.
We feel it is important to reward and support our team, and we have developed a friendly and nurturing working environment. You will have a dedicated care manager and the office team are always there at the end of the phone or when you visit the office. We want to help you progress in your role if you wish to and can support you to undertake higher learning and NVQs.
