Make a difference AND develop your career with a multi award winning live-in home care provider.

Join an award-winning team

We truly value our dedicated team of carers, and we recognise that it takes exceptional people to do such a demanding yet rewarding job.

We are always keen to hear from people who are interested in joining our care team. First and foremost, our carers are compassionate, caring, and thoughtful people who share our values and outlook on life.

WHY JOIN US

At Ashridge Home Care we genuinely care for our teams as much as our clients.

We believe that to provide ‘Outstanding’ care, our carers need to feel truly valued, heard, and supported. You aren’t just a staff member; you are at the heart of everything we do.

We deliver the kind of high-quality care we’d want for our own loved ones. If you are a compassionate, experienced live-in carer who wants to be part of a company that truly values you, we’d love to hear from you.

Not only do you get to care for some lovely people, but we pay an attractive salary, and with your accommodation and food paid for the majority of the year, you will have more of your pay left over to spend on other things.

Training will be provided to ensure the care provided is safe, professional and of a very high standard. We will have trained carers in homes within 14 days of applying. We also believe in continuous learning; therefore, we provide ongoing training to complement the regular visits and ongoing communication. We want you to feel fully supported and comfortable in your role.

There are many attributes and skills that we look for in our carers. You will need to:

  • Have a positive outlook on life
  • Be caring, kind, compassionate, and empathetic
  • Enjoy striking up conversation with people (which will require a very good standard of English)
  • Be experienced in making good home-cooked food
  • Use your initiative and look for what needs to happen next (in consultation with your client)

While many of our carers do have driving licences and own their own car, this is not essential, as we can make alternative travel arrangements so you and your client can get out and about.

Being a live-in carer is a special career. We truly value our dedicated team of carers, and we recognise that it takes exceptional people to do such a demanding yet rewarding job.

We want to attract the very best carers therefore it’s important to us that our package is one of the best in the industry.

Working for Ashridge Home Care means that you will join a caring and close-knit award winning team. You will also receive:

  • One of the best rates of pay across the industry
  • A monthly satisfaction bonus based on client feedback
  • Pay that increases the longer you stay with us
