Hear what our kind-hearted carer Olivia have to say about working with us

“From the perspective of an employee (live in carer) I have to say that Ashridge looks after us very well. This became apparent during lock-down when most of us where stuck indoors with clients, in some cases for months. The office staff organised weekly zoom meetings for us to connect, encourage each other, as well as checking in on us. They organised transport for us, promptly informed us of any organisational, local and national changes as they occurred. They even did our Tesco shopping for my client and I when we couldn’t get priority slots! This wasn’t a one off but a standard.”

“Having worked for other agencies that claim to be organised, and have the carers best interests and real need for support in mind yet do not act that way, I can honestly say that I am impressed with the whole Ashridge team. The live in and day carers as well as management. Ashridge is supportive of carers who want to improve their CVs, from providing tailored training, encouragement, opportunities to expand roles within the organisation and even advance!”

“As someone who’s been in the industry for nearly a decade and worked for various agencies, I can honestly recommend Ashridge both to other carers and prospective clients. The team is tight, employee retention is high because of the quality of work, support and benefits we get. This translates to having continuity of care for clients from the best carers because we are happy to work for and with Ashridge Home Care !” Olivia Gee

There are many advantages to home care jobs. Not only do you get to care for some lovely people, but we pay an attractive salary, and with your accommodation and food paid for the majority of the year, you will have more of your pay left over to spend on other things. You don’t need to have professional qualifications to join our team. We provide an extensive induction to teach you the necessary skills. We also believe in continuous learning; therefore, we provide ongoing training to complement the regular visits and ongoing communication. We want you to feel fully supported and comfortable in your role.
