Our kind hearted Director, Trudi wins a well deserved Dignity in Care Award

The Dignity in Care Awards celebrate outstanding examples of how dignity and respect are demonstrated across Buckinghamshire.

First impressions from our Award Winner

I am so proud that we’ve picked up this award, it is fantastic that Dintta has been recognised for the caring work that she does.  Caring as a profession in the UK is often overlooked, we often hear the negative press but never celebrate the incredible work our carers do every day. Caring in my view is one of the most important jobs carried out, so I think it is absolutely fantastic that carers are being recognised in this way.

It’s all about improving care

This award is the icing on the cake! I am so passionate about improving care for people and making sure that there is a care options that suits everyone.  I’ve been a campaigner for improved care for many years and working with others to achieve this is the best way to make change.

About making Princes Risborough dementia friendly

I’m working with the community of Princes Risborough to make the town a Dementia Friendly Community, I can’t do this alone and am working with lots of people to achieve this.  Being a Dementia Friendly Town will make a difference to the lives of people with Dementia, helping them to live well with Dementia.

A special dedication to all carers out there

Of course the real winners are paid and unpaid carers across the country who work tirelessly to help others – it’s those people who should be recognised and thanked.

Ashridge Home Care was borne out of the genuine need for additional care services to be provided to people in their own homes – where they feel most comfortable and at ease. Choosing live-in care is a huge decision and not something that you should take lightly and it’s our job to make sure you feel as comfortable as possible. We are more than happy to visit you and your family at home to discuss your situation and consider the options available to you.
