It gives us great pride to welcome Mitch Miller as our New Managing Director.
Miller joined the Social Care Sector as Operations Manager in April 2014. He was promoted through the ranks to Group Managing Director, a position he held for three years. Mitch completed an MBA at Alliance Manchester Business School in 2021 and is a trustee at POhWER, a charity supporting people who because of a disability, ill health social exclusion or other challenges find it difficult to express their needs and gain support.
Commenting on his new role, Mitch said: “I am really excited about joining an outstanding company like Ashridge. I’ve followed the company for several years now and it has grown from strength to strength. I am privileged to be joining at a time of change and growth for the team and look forward to using my experience in recruiting the best possible talent to offer outstanding customer care.”
“The social care sector is where my heart lies. Domiciliary and live-in care is where my passion comes from, giving people an informed choice of options and Ashridge is run with that same passion and ethos. I am really looking forward to meeting the people and growing the brand.”
Mitch joins at a time of change for Ashridge Home Care. The head office team has moved into bigger newly fitted out offices this month, still in Amersham, Buckinghamshire. The new site has a dedicated training room, standalone breakout lounge area and kitchen for carers make use of and offers adequate meeting facilities for customers and carers.
Trudi, Founder of Ashridge Home Care, commented: “ I am going to be working closely with Mitch in the coming weeks, and indeed months, to settle him in and I am confident that he is going to make a real impact. He is a real people orientated man and shares our Ashridge values and beliefs in offering the best possible care for our clients as well as our carers. His superb track record in delivering outstanding results and service excellence speaks for itself.”
“My involvement and commitment to Ashridge remains unchanged and I am really excited about what this year will bring for the company.”
Having someone of Mitch’s calibre and experience on board will be a huge asset to Ashridge Home Care. We’re confident that he is going to make a real impact and look forward to his leadership as we enter our next phase of growth.
