The Dignity In Care Awards celebrate outstanding examples of how carers demonstrate dignity and respect across Buckinghamshire. The awards ceremony was held on 14 May 2019 at The Oculus in Aylesbury, and we are delighted one of Ashridge Home Care’s carers, Dintta has been awarded the outstanding “Fulfilling Lives Award”.
A proud moment for all the team at Ashridge Home Care. “I am so proud that we’ve picked up this award, it is fantastic that Dintta has been recognised for the caring work that she does. Caring as a profession in the UK is often overlooked, we often hear the negative press but never celebrate the incredible work our carers do every day. Caring in my view is one of the most important jobs carried out, so I think it is absolutely fantastic that carers are being recognised in this way.” adds Trudi Scrivener , Director and Co-Founder of Ashridge Home Care.
Being a carer takes a remarkable kind of person and Dintta is certainly one of them.
Knowing that you require care or your loved one requires care can be very difficult and stressing, but knowing there is an option for care that doesn’t involve the upheaval and distress associated moving to a care home is a blessing for many families. Having a bespoke live in-carer at home can be a better option for later life care and it is important to know that it is a viable and affordable option.
