From day one, I have witnessed them demonstrate nothing but complete and utter dedication to helping their team achieve the highest quality of care possible. The time, kindness and patience they devote to each and every one of their clients, carers and members of the public is unmatched. “As someone who’s been in the industry for nearly a decade and worked for various agencies, I can honestly recommend Ashridge both to other carers and prospective clients. The team is tight, employee retention is high because of the quality of work, support and benefits we get. This translates to having continuity of care for clients from the best carers because we are happy to work for and with Ashridge!”

You can know that your client has a much higher quality of life because of you. Even better, the quality of your life is better too. You get paid well, receive regular training and you get a week, or two weeks off at a time as you will likely alternate the job with another person. You can even save on household bills at home whilst you stay with your client in their home during working days.
The benefits of being a live-in carer apply to both the carer and the client, and even the wider community as care in the home relieves the pressure on NHS bed blocking, often a result of a lack of adequate care provision.
There are many attributes and skills that we look for in our carers. You will need to:

We’re a young company going from strength to strength. This year’s awards recognise that we are providing an outstanding service to our clients, that we value and look after our care staff and that we are helping people to stay and be cared for in their own home.
Caring in our view is one of the most important jobs carried out, so we think it is absolutely fantastic that carers are being recognised and celebrated everyday.
Carers don’t get enough recognition and in many companies they certainly don’t get enough pay. But we are working very hard to change that. We want to attract the very best carers therefore it’s important to us that our package is one of the very best in the care industry.
Praise and recognition are essential to an outstanding workplace. Care professionals want to be respected and valued by others for their contribution. Just as we treat our clients as individuals, we also treat all our live-in carers with the same personal approach.
For this role, you do not need to be an experienced carer or have formal qualifications. Together, we will guide and support you to develop your skills and confidence in providing high quality care for clients with a variety of needs, from companionship to complex care.
Training will be provided to ensure the care provided is safe, professional and of a very high standard. We will have trained carers in homes within 14 days of applying. We also believe in continuous learning; therefore, we provide ongoing training to complement the regular visits and ongoing communication. We want you to feel fully supported and comfortable in your role.
We feel it is important to reward and support our team, and we have developed a friendly and nurturing working environment. You will have a dedicated care manager and the office team are always there at the end of the phone or when you visit the office. We want to help you progress in your role if you wish to and can support you to undertake higher learning and NVQs.
There are lots of different jobs in the social care sector, and we’ve got plenty of information to help you apply.
Our live-in care services cover the whole of Buckinghamshire, including Beaconsfield, Gerrards Cross, Princes Risborough, Aylesbury, Great Missenden, Amersham, Marlow, High Wycombe and other surrounding areas.
Ashridge Home Care has been named the Best Employer at the Proud of Bucks Awards 2020, Employer of the Year at the SME National Business Awards 2021 and is actively looking to hire 100 live-in carers and visiting carers to provide high quality care support to it’s growing number of clients.
