We’re taking part in “Glad to Care Awareness Week” to shine a light on all of the outstanding work that’s been done.

Proud to support Glad to Care

We’re happy to support this brilliant initiative whilst letting our team of care professionals know how valued they are not only to Ashridge Home Care, but to the community as a whole.
Live in care home care

“Glad to Care Awareness Week is a celebration to resilient care workers, following what has undeniably been a trying period for the industry. The aim is to show appreciation for the extraordinary contributions that carers make to the lives of recipients of care and reassuring families currently looking for care, and in turn resulting in improving occupancy for care providers.” gladtocare.com

I’m Glad To Care because my input no matter how big or small makes a positive difference. LaShanna Sanderson, Home Care Professional at Ashridge

Speaking of the campaign, Jonathan Papworth, founder of Person Centred Software, said: “The responses to the last two #GladtoCare Awareness Weeks were fantastic and saw hundreds of care providers across the UK get involved at the height of the pandemic. Two years on, and with the effects of COVID-19 still very much impacting the sector, we were keen for the event to return for a third year.

“With the 2022 theme being ‘celebration’, we will be inviting participants to get stuck into the fun activities we have planned throughout the week, encouraging them to share stories, photos and videos on their social channels to showcase milestone moments that have made them feel particularly proud to be carers.”

“We hope that as many care providers and care workers will get involved as possible to shine a light on all of the incredible work that’s been done, and continues to be done, within the industry, much of which often goes unnoticed and underappreciated.”

At Ashridge Home Care, we know first-hand how valuable care workers are to society and would like to thank our carers and all the other carers out there for the magnificent work they do. Our staff continue to shine and show how caring & professional they are.
We are always keen to hear from people who are interested in joining our care team. If you think you’ve got what it takes to brighten up someone’s day, we’d love to hear from you. Call us or send an email to recruitment@ashridgehomecare.co.uk.
