The Cost of Care

The cost of live-in care compares well to other types of full time care, like a residential nursing home. However, there are many benefits to a live-in care option. The major benefit is being able to remain in your own home without the emotional and physical upheaval of having to move. If you are a couple then the costs compare favourably to residential care, you won’t be paying double as you would in a care home, we charge just a nominal additional charge for looking after couples. Even if you are on your own the costs work out about the same as a good care home. Unlike a care home, you will get undivided care and support from your live-in carer who will provide help to you when you want it.

Live-in care will usually cost between £994 and £1400 per week depending on your needs. If you require more specialist complex care you will pay more than someone who needs companionship and housekeeping. We will discuss costs with you once we have spoken to you about your needs.

We can put our clients in touch with an expert who can discuss options around funding your care.
